I have the TruTech LMD-5702RT Portable DVD Player. The auxilary screen has no picture when it is plugged in. It has sound, but no picture. The brightness adjustment will still take the screen from light to dark but no picture. What could be the problem?

The cable that connects the two is a 4 pole cable, which means that some of the poles are used for video and others for audio (stereo left and right). My kids broke the cable within a week of having the device and I had to bend the cable back and forth to get a picture to show up. We have the same problem with ours. The tip of one of the video wires broke off and lodged inside the screen. Both tips should look exactly the same. We are trying to find a replacement wire for ours.
