Exchange rate How do i set the calculator to do exchange rates?

You'll need to specify exchange rate with what other currency. National banks for different countries will have their own sites like this one http://www.bankofcanada.ca/rates/exchange/

Exchange rate changes every day. You need the current exchange rate. Get it from google. Google will even do the math for you. Just type in the google.com search box "56 euro to pounds" And it will tell you that today the answer is 50 Good luck

1. Press [CI/C]2. Input currency rate (Rate can be input with max. 6 digids)
3. Press [Rate Set]
4. Press [Local]

Exchange rates change on a daily basis. Your local newspaper or bank should have the current exchange rate. Or you can go to

The c1, c2, & c3 are for exchange rates. To set the c2 exchange rate press AC. Press the MODE M/EX button till EXCH appears in the display. Press and hold the SET/% button for a few seconds until SET EXCH appears in the screen. Press c2, C2 SET EXCH RATE should be displayed. Enter the desired echange rate. For instance, today, Thai Baht is 32.8677. Once you enter your desired exchange rate, press the SET/% button.

To convert 100 dollars using the exchange rate you set on c2, make sure that EXCH is in the display by toggling the MODE M/EX button. Press AC, enter 100, press c1 then c2. Using 32.8677 as the exchange rate 100 dollars would be 3286.77 THB.

To convert 100 THB to dollars you would enter 100, then press c2 and then c1 yeilding 3.04 dollars.

You can also program a different exchange rate into the C3 button. To convert to that currency, you press c1 then c3. To convert from that currency, you press c3 then c1.

How do I program tax rate into my calculator?


Non-printing models (also applies to HR-8TE printing calculator):

1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]

If you use the calculator to add up a list of purchased items and you get a total, all you need to do is then jit the tax+ key to add the tax to the total. The same applies to the exchange rate. Once you add up the total purchases, then hit the exchange rate key and it will convert the amount for you.

i have a CASIO MS-80TV calculator how do i set the peso & tax rate?

1. Switch off the calculator
2. Switch it on again
3. Press and hold the tax button (set %) until the display changes
4. Enter the new tax rate
5. Press the tax button (tax +)
