SOS beeps are post codes the computer sends to alert you of problems detected during start up.

The beeps can mean anything from over heating to bad memory detected. Find out what your Motherboard bio is and check Here. This has a handy beep code listing for many of the common mother boards.
Good luck!
Hope this helps!

Proform tredmill starts runs 10 sec and beeps twice and stops

I would suggest unplugging the unit from the wall and waiting 30 second and plugging it back in. Then go to where the AC cord enters the machine and look for a reset button or switch. Put it in the reset position and see if this solves the problem. Depending on model the reset may be on the bottom of console.

I recently turned on my hp 6500 f desktop computer and it gave like a 15 sec beep and stops for 10 sec and keeps doing itcontiniously don't know muchabout computers need help

The motherboard is detecting some "fault":
* RAM not properly "seated" in its socket
* video-card not properly "seated" in its socket
* "bad" RAM (that is not working correctly)
* overheating (fans inside the case no longer working)

Take your computer to a qualified technician, at any computer-store, for professional diagnosis & repair.

Hi I have get an answer from you but it did not

For that you need to open cpu cabinet. Open back cover of cpu then refix the RAM memory. Pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes then put it back then all settings defaults. Make sure RAM is working fine. Try with another RAM .If you use 2 RAM memory then check with only 1 RAM 1 by 1. Open processor fan and processor then put it back . Clean dust from all parts . Reconnect both connection to harddrive. Make sure motherboard don't touch the cabinet. Remove pci card if any reattach vga card if vga is not on board. Then check. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Consecutive beeps last 10 seconds, silence for 5 seconds, the long beep for 10 seconds...pattern repeats. Nothing comes on screen. I removed single RAM card, tried other slot, same problem. I powered it on...

how many beeps any breaks between beeps and then how many like 3 beeps then stops for 1 sec then beep beep beep stop beep beep beep check to make sure that your installing your memory sticks right and they are seated all the way make sure all cards are seated right all wires are not shorting out and a worst case your cpu is good

Turn on and back to 1st position 4 times within 20 secs you should hear a beep if you do press any button on fob within 10 secs .you should now hear a confirmation beep. (NB dont remove key and dont start engine just turn to position 2.)

Very annoying beep when finished programme

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops completely (5-10 secs). Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.
