The electric burner elements on my whirlpool Super Capacity 365 stove often won't heat. They seem corroded on one tip and the socket they go into looks dark. Can I simply replace them?

If one of your electric stove top burners isn't heating, it could be a bad burner, a bad connection in the burner socket or a faulty switch. ... If that burner won't heat, the problem is either the burner socket or the infinite switch. (The burner prongs plug into the burner socket.) https://www.familyhandyman.com/appliance-repair/stove-repair/electric-stove-repair-tips/

I have a whirlpool 465 super capacity stove. the top burners seem to have a mind of their own. 1 in the back doesnt come on at all and the other go to high heat even if i set them on low settings

No solution, just that you are not alone. We have had our Whirlpool super capacity 465 for 10 years, and about a year ago that large burner started to randomly go to high, even though the control is set to simmer. Ruined a few meals by not being right there watching.

Whirlpool Accubake Super Capacity 465 gas range. Oven won't light

Some gas ranges may take 10 or so minutes to light.
Other than that you may have a defective glow bar ignitor.
If it glows and does not light the reistance in the ignitior has failed.

Heating elements

I have a Whirlpool super capacity 465, the surface light for the burners comes on, the burners don't heat up, nor does the oven,(the light that says oven is on does not light up). I checked the main circuit breaker, that works. Are there any fuses in the range that would need to be replaced?

Thank-You,maddie

My Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 just made a VERY loud pop noise and shot out a blue flame. Knocked the breaker off. reset breaker and stove appears to work ok. Should I continue to use stove?

you most likely had a bake or broil burner short out. the unit may seem to heat but it probably doesnt bake right. look at the elements and see if they have a rough or blistered apperance to them. if so it probably isnt working. you can also check to see if both elements are glowing red when they are on.
try the broil cycle and if its ok then try the bake cycle, my guess is one of them is blown out.
