Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power.
Remove the side-cover, to view the motherboard.
The battery is on the motherboard.
It is silver-coloured, and about the size of a US $0.25 coin.
Before you remove the battery, note the engraving on the top of the battery; the replacement battery needs to be inserted & oriented with its engraving also facing up.
Gently "pry" the battery out, and take it to a computer-store, and buy a replacement.

Look at the specific battery number on the battery case.
They are readily available on eBay or from most PC dealers or electrical discount stores..
This message is likely referring to the battery used to hold your BIOS settings.
If you open your computer case, you should see a coin-shaped battery on the mother board. This is the system battery.

Remember to clear your error log in the BIOS after changing the battery! Sometimes the alert still comes up even with a replacement battery in place.
