TETRA is a relatively new trunked radio system that is coming into wide use in Europe. It uses digital technology unlike "standard" trunked systems, and there are no scanners available that allow monitoring of TETRA systems. Sorry, but there is no APCO-25 (digital) card/adapter available for your scanner. If all or some of your local services have switched to digital, you'll need to purchase a different scanner - such as the Uniden BCD996XT or the brand new Uniden HomePatrol-1.

to listen to the programed channels you need to turn the squelch up to to the right and press scan it will scan all the channels and stop on the ones that people are talking on. you can down load the user manual at the bearcat scanner website.
