The code was not included among the Status Code Indicator RAPS. U2-40 is a Communication Error between the Main PWB and the CRUM on the Toner Cartridge (CRU).

Sounds like the toner cartridge is not seated or is defective.
What that message is saying is that the small chip on the back of the toner cartridge is not communication with the processor board.

Un the L. side of the keyboard there is a print mode key, press it and the DL PRINT will go out on the display.

My photopier is loked

probably it can be reset,the procedure as follow;
1,power on
2, press follow by sequence;
"clear", "interupt", "0","interupt"
3,enter 14 press print
4, press "clear" to end this reset
5, good luck

Sharp AR-M160 H4 error code

Clearing a trouble code on a AR-M160 is a little different than the AR160.

Try "#" "interrupt" "clear" "interupt" "1" "4" "start key"

This should clear the error. Even if you replace the fusion unit you will need this code to clear the error

Could be that it is printing a legal print on letter paper. This causes a timing error which appears as a jam. If it is accordion folding behind the exit rollers the paper could be hanging on the exit sensor flag. If it accordian folds in the fuser then the fuser needs replacing.
