To format your nokia 5200 use the following Soft Reset: *#7780#, 12345 (Nokia default unless changed by you) and then Yes. (Also works on Nokia S40 phones as a full reset).
master resetting the phone will not erase that problem what you can do is download norton mobile for the phone or take the phone to a service center and have them reflash the phone for you.
Connect your phone to a computer using the USB cable. The phone memory and the Memory card will be shown as 2 seperate drives in my computer. Right-click on the phone and click format.. PS:Format using FAT32 as it is more reliable.
