I have a 55" Sony projection screen. About ten years old. When I turn it on it has a regular screen but becomes progressively more blue and then flashes blue and shuts off. Then the timer/standby light flashes 10 times, pauses and then flashes again.

You have a defective Blue CRT ( picture tube) I don't believe they are available any longer.

Blue dots and streaks

Blue streaks might have been just your video connection and problem with signaling. But, blue dots is faulty light engine, aka "optical block". The engine in this could be a defective LCD array. Very expensive, a optical block is about $850. Hope it's still under warranty. You could get a rebuilt one, possibly. Need service adjustment too. Bad problem that Sony has with these kinds of sets.

Blue spot on screen center. Peoples faces and show blue tint

if you have a Sony LCD projection ..Theres good chance optical block needs replacing .This spot will get bigger and will eventually cover most of screen the longer you use it .needs repair. If there is no warranty on this unit..I would estimate repair around 6- 8 hundred dollars ..

I have a rear projection Sony 52 " about 10 years old. The picture is good but there are blue curved lines.

The blue CRT is getting bad, you can try turning down the Blue CRT drive control slightly which may slow the progression down some, but eventually the Blue CRT will need to be replaced

Cloudy Blue Color Covering Whole Screen

I think its time for sony to face a claas action, they do not supply parts in less than 7 years, and the unit should not have been sold so $high, they should buy them back, that is the best solution
