Maybe there is a proble in the turntable motor, try this:
1.- disconnect the motor.
2.- put some drops of alchool in the motor
3.-with an external power suply make it wok in both directions
reconnect and check, what happen.

Your toshiba is not spinning that's why it keeps on saying loading. Unplug the dvd Open the device,once open plugin the dvd and put the dvd cleaner in the player. take your finger on the top where the dvd disk is and spin the disk. What happening is that you are cleaning the len. keep spinning until it spin on its own.Put the toshiba top back on and clean again. It should clean on it's on. Now you can play your dvd. Clean your dvd on a regular basic.

oh no!!! that's bad dude!! have it checked to a liscensed technician since the player is malfunctioned. This is one of the most common problems with players especially if it played for long hours..
Check to see if the disk is dirty, has fingerprints or is scratched. This has happened to me in the past and if dirty, cleaning it will correct the problem.
