Forgot password how do i reset the password

if you have windows xp you can try going into safe mode by pressing F8 at start up. once your in windows try logging in to the administrator account (it usually doesn't have a password) then you can change the password on your old account.

restart your netbook

when it begin open click f8

it will give you options

choose save mode then click enter

it will open as administrator

when it open

open run window

type "cmd"

click enter

will open dos

type net user

i will give you all users in your system,

chose your account name as example your computer name is lime

ok

then write it to reset password in this account

net user lime

then enter

restart your computer it will open without password
