Dvd drive problem-sony vaio laptop

Try to other laptop or DVD player, there is your mini DVD is working or not, if its working then please clean your Toshiba Satellite DVD head..... may be dust is there that way its not reading ...

According to the spec. it should be OK. Don't forget to download the drivers from Sony.com otherwise it won't work correctly.

your dvd has scratches on it. See if it is visible then it can not be repaired

just pop it into your dvd drive and view it through my computer or right click on your drive and click on explore. repost here if i missunderstood the question..
