Swap the cables, toggle the f4 on the computer, and reset the settings to factory default to make sure the resolution matches.

Infocus lp770, trying to hook up to apple computer using the usb port? will this connection work to run the 770?

Hi!
You need to hook it up using VGA or HDMI for it to transmit information from your Apple computer to projector. You can check the Ports available at the back of your projector and you can Purchase cable needed from either Apple or Infocus or any computer store.
Hope this helps.

Infocus LP 120 will not power when plugged in.

If the lamp door is not properly secure, the projector will not power up. If you are sure the door is secure then the likely culprit is a bad power supply or main board. Either will need to be repaired at a service center.

Infocus 540 has a blue tint to it.

if it only has a blue tint when the computer or video is hooked up, reset the settings to factory default and replace the cables. if the splash screen (when it says "infocus") has the blue tint, one of the light filters are fried due to excessive heat and dust. unfortunately, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine.

Cannot see computer displyed on output of infocus screen shot

Many laptop computers do not automatically turn on their external
video port when a projector is connected. On many laptops, the activation function key is labeled with an icon or the text CRT/LCD.

Try the Function Key with the Icon of a monitor to enable the external video port.

If that does work, look at the settings on the projector using the buttons on the top.

Check the "Default Source"

Default Source toggles among Computer 1 analog, Computer 1 digital, Computer 2, and Video. This determines which source the
projector checks first for active video during power-up. Highlight
Default Source and click the left or right mouse button to toggle
among the options.

Colors showing red on screen

Hi Stella,
There is a button on the projector called "Auto Image"
Most people don't realize it's even there.
Press it while you are seeing this problem and most likely the projector will figure out the image issue and all will be well.
Note: this feature is nowhere in the menu(s)

Good Luck!

Infocus LP120 Retrying-Power Light Turns Red...

Usually when the lamp is good and you get this message, the ballast is bad. That is the part thatdrives the lamp. Check with Infocus for a repalacement balast.
