Husky Air Compressor has rattlling noise!

Husky Air Compressor Model # H27508UWK has LOUD/OBNOXIOUS rattling noise which appears to be coming from the crankshaft & Fan area when it is running. Belt is fine and not overly worn. When powered off connecting rod has lots of play and moves freely on crankshaft. I'm thinking this free play is making this noise. What is the fix action? Bearing replacement, or something else. I do have the Operations manual that has an IPB so giving me the name/number of a needed part will work.

Thank You

Constant loud noise when frig turns on/comes from bottom

when the compressor is running unplug the ref. and if you hear the noise coming from the compressor then
a ballance spring may be broken inside the compressor.

The compressor will run normally with a broken spring it will just be annoying when it shuts down.

Frig makes a very loud booming noise/ratteling what is the cause?

The noise is coming from the compressor and is a result of a broken support spring inside the compressor. When the unit shuts down, the inner casing rattles against the outer casing because the spring is not there to keep them apart. The only fix is to replace the compressor but otherwise it is just bothersome.

Knocking noise at idle

This is AC compressor rattle, don't worry about it unless it is really loud, in that case replace the compressor.

Haier ESA 3185 AC won't cool; makes escalating loud vibrating noise near front panel/ filter

Have someone check the run capacitor of this unit. If the run capacitor is bad over shorted it can cause the unit to run and short cycle on a current overdraw. This makes for an electrical imbalance in the compressor motor. Next step is the compressor is faulty.
