Two dots on right side of page

I get about 3 spots on the right side of the page, the spots are on the exact same spot on each page. I have replaced the printer with a new photoconductor and all new cartridges. I opened the fuser assembly and noticed a couple of streaks/spots on the orange colored drums. Could this be the problem ? any ideas anybody.....
Thanks to John A., I appreciate your responses based on your suspicion I checked the fuser assembly and am reporting on the streaks I saw in the drum.
Thanks in advance to any suggestions !

If you replaced the cartridge and the streaks are still there then it's the fuser. you can try to clean the "fuser" roller with a little alcohol and your finger nail (after it's cooled down) to scratch off the toner, if it's an actual scratch on the roller you need to replace the fuser as it will pickup toner again and leave marks.

hope this helps

Lexmark t-620 print spots

That usually indicates a worn heat roller in the fuser assembly. You can get a fuser from Amazon or other online site. They are user replaceable and run about $80-100. Do a search for T620 fuser and you will find them. Part number 99a2402 What happens is the Teflon coating on the fuser wears down which allows the toner to stick where is should not stick so it gets deposited on the paper in other locations and leaves spots.

Every page has 3 or 4 black dots right down the center. How do I get rid of these?

Are the spots the same on every page?

Start a print from tray 1/manual feed and just as the trailing edge of paper is entering the machine; quickly open it to stop print and take out the cartridge and look at the drum and the paper underneath. If the issue is there at that point then it would point to the cartridge. If not then it is in the fuser area.

If it is the drum area:

Clean the loose toner up with a dry lint free cloth.

If it is the fuser, it may have a bad spot and would need to be replaced.

Magenta toner showing up in 2 dots on paper printed from Aficio MP C3000. Replaced Magenta toner, but dots have not faded. What do we need to clean, and what do we use to clean it? Thank you.

If it's a repeating defect, as in you see the same spots at an exact same distance multiple times on one page then it sounds like you have some debris on the Magenta Drum,
here's a page from Precision Roller for a replacement. (This is more to show you a picture of it than suggesting you replace it which is last resort.. expensive!)

The drum is a photosensitive metallic roller that effects the image quality,
if you remove the drum and examine it you should be able to see the spots on the roller.
You should have a drum for each color so it would be near the magenta toner cartridge.

IMPORTANT!!
The drum is very well.. delicate, do NOT touch the drum with any chemicals, do NOT touch the drum with your bare hand, and also do NOT expose the drum to light for an extended period of time.
You can use a Q-tip to very carefully remove the spots if you find them or you could also use a can of compressed air.
If you do not see the spots you may or may not be able to actually turn the gear to move the roller. If it seems difficult then don't force it, try putting it back in the machine print a page and remove it and hope you can see the debris on the exposed portion.

Did this help? Don't forget to leave me a positive review if it did! Good luck! :)

What can we do about dark toner spots that are appearing on the right side of documents we print? We have tried using a can of air spray to clean the inside of the printer, but to no avail.

I have a Brother HL 4040cn color laser printer and I had the same problem. On every page I printed there were these black dots that appeared down the right side of the page in regular intervals. I tried the automatic drum cleaner and that didn't work. I opened the printer from door, removed the black toner cartridge and looked at the drum. Sure enough there was a speck of black crusted toner stuck to the drum. I used a q-tip and lightly scrubbed at the spot to remove the toner then I used the gear on the left side of the drum to rotate it and check for any other smudges and there were none. Put the toner cartridge back in and it was good to go again...no black dots!!

Hope this helps someone because I couldn't find the solution myself when I searched.

Toner specks along the edge of the page

Rev. Gregory.
Its looks like you have a small pinhole, or divot, on a imaging conponent that is common to all four toner cartridges. Remove the drum unit from the prtr and keeping the green handle close to you pull back the shutter which covers the drum, and look for spots of toner at the either end. If you hold the page with the spots on it, with the leading edge centered and touching the drum, it will give you some idea where the edgeis relative to the end of the drum. If you can't see any corresponding spots on the drum surface.
Put the drum unit back into the prtr and allow the prtr to restart, then switch off and remove drum, this will have turned the drum to a new position, and should show any defects. Only expose the uncovered drum to light for a minute at a time, and avoid touching the surface.
Let me know what you find.
Cheers

My LCD TV Has 4 large round black spots (50mm diam) on the left side of the screen. I accidentally splashes a little water on the unit the day before, but in the bottom (right) corner only. It is a Teac...

The dots cannot be rectified, static dots of this kind on an LCD panel are dead pixels or liquid cristal leaks, depending on their hape and aspect.

The only fix is by replacing the LCD panel, that is an expensive part and must be ordered by phone, as it is not normally in stock.

You can inquire by phone here to find out part price.

Two black dots on right side of page

Are the marks in the same exact spot on each page? If not and you have changed the toner cartridge then most likely the fuser assembly needs to be replaced. This is a job I recommend for a professional.
Good Luck
