Curtis My imode (Model ip215)ipod function is not working right now. I can barely hear the volume. I have adjusted the volume on my ipod and still no improvement. Is there a factory reset? Am I missing something? I have had this device for 6 months and have had no other problems. THANKS!

I got the imode ip215 for Christmas, and suddenly two days ago I could no longer hear any sound. It hasn't been two months! The return policy was 30 days from the store, and I misplaced the warranty. It worked fine one morning, and when I tried to reset the alarm tht night I coud not hear the radio or my ipod. I've tried everything I can think of. And it seems to be working perfectly except for the sound (i.e. the clock is right, the power works, etc.). Help!!

I am also having problems with the volume on my alarm clock. It seems to go in and out of good reception or something because at times it will be loud and other times i can turn it up all the way and barely hear it. I remember reading in the manual something about the antenna being inside the cord and to keep the cord extended, not wrapped up. I have tried many different things to troubleshoot, but no luck.

Same problem as the others it was working fine then zero sound. Tried everything, IPod still works on other speaker sets. Same problem happened to another set I bought as a gift. Works fine then no sound in any mode FM,AM or IPod.

The iTone iC220 was working fine sound from anything, ipod or radio. I opened it up, there is a fuse but that was fine. I can't figure it out.

You can workaround this problem in some cases. I can use a 1/8" audio cable (the type your computer speaker uses) from the headphone jack of the iPod to the aux in on the back of the radio.

You don't get the nifty integration functions, but the amplifier/speakers still work.

WIth any doubt, the problem is the CD8227CP integrated. Only if you plug in a Speaker or headphone in the back green jack, you will obtain the sound through them. Any other case is necesary to replace the mentioned piece.

I hope this postcan help all of you.

The same thing has happened to me too. My warranty is still good but I've lost the receipt and I'm not willing to spend twenty dollars to ship it. What a waste of fifty bucks!!!

The same problem for me for the iMode iP215... right now, I am going to my cousin's house (he's a technical fixer person) If he can tell me what is the problem, I'll give you guys the answer on how to fix it. If not, I just lost money for nothing.

The volume on my curtis mathis television is not working properly. the numbers are low but volume is high.

There is some fault with the control section to volume circuit. Contact any experienced service technician. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

How to turn off the alarm on a sylvania imode sip478

If this is for turning the alarm completely then I also had the same problem. The directions in the manual are not clear but all you have to do is quickly press either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 (depending on which one you are turning off) twice and the alarm will be deactivated.

I can't hear peoples voices when they call. The volume only works for the ringer

If you want to change volume of the caller's voice, then try adjusting the volume control WHILE you are actually talking on the phone during a call.

If you try to adjust the volume when there is no call in progress, then the volume controls will only change the ringer volume.

If you provide the exact model number of your particular device, then we may also be able to provide you with the User's Manual for your phone.

I hope that was helpful Loli.

Good luck and take care.

I can't barely hear sound from my Gateway laptop speaker m305crv? only headphones and extra speakers work! PAUL TUMINO

1. Do you have an external volume control on the side? If so adjust it.
2. Do you have a speaker symbol in your lower right hand toolbar? If so, right click on it, go to open volume control, and adjust the slides.
3. No speaker in the toolbar? Left click START, choose CONTROL PANEL, find the ikon that says SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES, double left click it and adjust the volume.

Can barely hear anything of any audio but device manager says audio device working

Right click your volume icon in notification area and adjust volume settings in there. Try headphones and see if its still the same, in case its your actual speakers going bad.

IMode IP215 Won't Charge iPod 4th Generation

It's because it charges via FireWire and your iPod charges via USB. This 12V vs. 5V. I've encountered this twice recently myself. Scosche makes an adapter that's sold through the Apple Store.

I have an IMODE IP215 that has lost sound. Any suggestions

i am in Colombia, and year ago i bought in USA at Circuitcity (Miami) an Imode Ip 215 Clock Radio with IPOD dock station for a nephew gift. It functions several months without any problem but suddenly it does not sound anymore. A technician examination determined that the problem was not the volume control as i though but the CD8227CP Integrated . The Headphone jack always worked fine in spite of that problem, though the volume was fixed..
Idon't know if this common problem of the Imode devices mut be due to a defective or bad quality sound piece

I hope this help you to determine thereal problem.
