Well I don't know if I should be answer this question, it's going to cost you,
Oh heck there you go , of course you can, it is so easy, even my two year old can do it.
Here something you should know first, don't tough the bulb, do you know what I'm saying don't touch it,
Make shure that both fan's or working, this is one issue that if the fan is burt out, the bulb won't last, the second problem when bulb burn's out is bad ballace, because of bad cap and diode inside, but don't worry about that,
Here is the info on other adjustment you can do but don't read to mutch, you'll get lost thttp://service.panasonic.ca/pdp/ServiceManuals/pt50-60dl54-sm.pdf
Mmmmm did I mention your welcome

Replacing Headlight lamps

you are just replacing bulbs not the whole lamp i presume. The bulbs are held in by a ring that turns about a quarter turn counter clockwise to release. Then the bulb will pull out of the lamp housing. Some cars do not give room to do this and you will have to remove objects in the way or take headlamp out of car to achieve

How do I replace the lamp? Do I need just the bulb, or also the housing?

just the bulb.. write down the model number of the unit and they will give you the same bulb that you need, just give them the model number.

If you are going to install the bulb just remember DO NOT HOLD directly the bulb, use any clothe or gloves, because even a fingerprint can busted the bulb even thou it's not yet use

How do you remove the head lamp assembly on a 1993

1. Make sure headlamp is off and open hood.
2. Taurus model years 1990-1999: you must remove the whole headlamp to replace the bulb. Not a horrible task. Just annoying.
3. Facing the driver's side headlamp, and looking at the headlamp itself, at clock positions 8, 11 and 1 are the headlight housing screws. They all look the same. Using a 10mm socket wrench, remove these 3 screws and set them aside.
4. Just to the right of the "11 o'clock" housing screw is a bolt (same hexagonal 10mm sized top as the housing screws). This just needs a few turns to loosen it.
5. Gently pull the whole headlight forward. Now you can get at the bulb.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb. Now the headlamp is free to work with. Remove the bulb, replace with a new bulb, make sure the bulb housing cylinder is in place and reconnect the electical.
7. Place headlamp back into position. Line up screw holes. Tighten the bolt. Replace housing screws and tighten.
8. Passenger side headlamp is mirror image of driver's side. Screws at 11, 1 and 4 o'clock positions. Bolt should be to the left of the "1 o'clock" housing screw.

Is the color wheel fine if it is spinning? Can you see any light from the dlp lamp when the screen is off? I had a service guy come by to fix my dlp and he replaced the bulb with no luck. He said it was...

First You can look on the rear of the set and see the lamp light shine through the lamp door vents when the set is on. Second you need to replace the whole color wheel before the set will work. Third Color wheels may spin but not at the correct rpm and may shut down the tv and sometimes color wheels will emit a high pitched whine or buzzing sound indicating that the bearings in the motor are wearing out. But now that you have to replace the color wheel you will need to adjust the index delay in the service menu. I suggest having a factory trained tech repair the set.
