Playback is Jittery at certain parts, but not on my Panasonic camcorder

Hello. Hoping someone can help me. I use a Panasonic camcorder to record video, and bought a Samsung for really cheap used only for capturing video to computer (because the DV Port on my panasonic stopped working).

When i record/playback on the panasonic, everything is fine, but on the samsung there are certain parts on the tape that have 'pixels' scrambling the video, and effecting the audio for a few seconds (this happens on certain parts, sometimes like every 1 or 2 minutes). Does anyone know what it could be? Is the samsung 'missing recorded signals'?

Also a weird thing i noticed when i was playing back: it started to jitter at a certain part, but when i rewinded it to see it again, it didn't jitter there again? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Someone did my wedding video, it wont finalize, but plays back on the camcorder. She lent me the camcorder, along with usb cord and software. I cannot get the data from the disc to transfer to my...

Unfortunately, only video and/or pictures from your (SD Memory) Card can be transferred (via the USB cable) to your computer. Video/pictures from a disk is not accessible to your computer.
So, you may wish to try to playback the video (on the camcorder) with the output to a DVD recorder (using the AV cables from the camcorder to the DVD recorder or a VCR recorder). This assumes you have a DVD recorder (or VCR recorder) that will take the RGB input from the camcorder. Connect it up just like you're viewing the playback on a TV monitor.

Jittery video and sound, and now no playback

You may have damaged the heads if your cleaner tape was old and dryed out and had grit on it, buy a new camera head cleaning tape for a start, never rewind it as lots of folk do, if you do that all you do is put the old dirt back on the head.

Tapes won't Playback in other deivice

Hello! If the recorded tapes playback ok on the camera and not ok on another devices, you need to readjust the playback on this camera using a tape which playbacks fine on the other devices. This means that is a small difference on the tape transport. So when the supply and takeup post rollers readjusted and the audio and video playback are good, then your camera is fine.
