I installed mozilla firefox for a few weeks already, it worked but today it does not even open, i tried to reinstall but its thesame, i checked with the task manager but it even is not running, i tried to reboot and re-install but still thesame, any solution?

1. Try opening the Firefox in the Safe Mode from Start -> All Programs-> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and check.

2. If it opening in Safe Mode, then uninstall any conflicts Add-ons and try.

3. Uninstall the Firefox from the Computer, delete all the Folders of the Firefox from the "Programs Files" and "Documents and Settings" (in XP) or "Users" (in Vista or Windows 7) including the Profile and extension Folder of the Firefox.

4. Restart the Computer and then install the Firefox again.

This should resolve the issue.

Do you already have Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 (latest version)?
If not, download the latest version of Firefox here:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Another solution would be to try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, because Mozilla Firefox works perfectly with Yahoo Answers.

If all else fails, I would recommend that you get Apple Safari browser, which I also use when Mozilla Firefox lets me down and has trouble opening some websites, also known as compatibility issues.

Everytime i attempt to open my mozilla firefox browser.. it will not open even i will click it many times..

hold down the shift key while opening firefox if the browser open go to ur addons and run a check for updates for ur addons if u dont find any updates then disable the last addon u install r third party application installed. R u can just reinstall firefox to fix the problem...

Have you tried opening "Safe Mode"? Click on Start - All programs - Mozilla Firefox - Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) and see if you can get it to open, uninstall all the 3rd party software and open it again regular mode and see if it works. Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.

remove firefox under ad and remove programs also under programs delete any residual files from firefox including cookies and internet history etc. restart you pc and reinstall Firefox.

I can't open mozilla even before its properly installed

Hello there...
I also have experienced the same many times already. You go to your start menu> control panel> add/remove programs> remove mozilla firefox.
Then you use another available browser and download Mozilla Firefox again. That works for me. Hope that helps... have a nice day!

U must disable some stupid add-ons. Simply click :

1. START
2. all programs
3. Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox Safe Mode
4. In the window that appears check DISABLE ALL ADD ONS and then hit the RESTART MOZILLA button

Worked for me after 2 long weeks without mozilla :)
