you need to contact straight talk's support and tell them your mobile number porting from verizon to straight talk has not been done properly and verizon is being contacted instead of straight talk phone. Verizon will have to release your #
but you want Straight talk to port your # to them (it could get lost if this doesn't happen )

No. Straight Talk refuses to allow Verizon phones to be used on their service.

Straight talk only uses Verizons towers, they are a tracfone company, and tracfone doesn't accept any phones but their own.

The book will not do you any good for this, as these instructions are not included. I want to do the same thing with mine, but other forums are saying that it is not possible to download any info from the LG 290C to computer using the USB data cable I have. They recommend using the Bluetooth connectivity. I purchased a dongle to connect to my pc via Bluetooth, but cannot get matching codes (there is no way to enter a code into the phone or the pc for Bluetooth connectivity). I have resorted to emailing the pictures to myself, downloading the pics from my email to my pc, then saving. Good luck!

hi there is a hardware problem on your cell you have to contact lg service center they will help you according to me there is a problem with your phone's mic and hearing speaker

try the last 4 digits of your phone number, if that dont work try 1234 or 0000, i found mine to be the last 4 of my phone number

Solution is questionable. Talked to Verizon Tech (Good support) and shortly to Plantronics. Both claimed to know nothing of a problem with the LG Dare and Bluetooth. Went back to the Verizon shop in the Mall to get it checked. We duplicated the problem on both phones and also used their phones (not the VX-9700). So, they are sending two new LGs to us via FedEx. When we came back to pick up the phones, the Tech did some research and did find info (Verizon) and Bluetooth. He did not elaborate.
Also there IS a Firmware Update for the VX-9700 and you must take it in to a Verizon that has a flash machine to upgrade the probably 03 to the latest, 05.

I'm having the same problem with my verizon vx8600 phone. Only with a jabra bt350 (listed as compatible). It actually doesn't find anything at all, no phones, no headsets, no bluetooth enabled PC's. Not really sure what to do since I've discovered handsfree talking, I never want to go back
