There's probably a penny or something in the drain pump. I've had this happen several times and it's easy to fix.
1. Make sure the washer is drained.
2. Remove the plastic panel at the bottom held on with the two plastic screws.
3. Drain the last bit of water into a pan by opening the cap on the black rubber tube.
3. Unscrew the big white cap on the left.
4. Look in there and you will probably find a penny or hairpin, etc.
5. Put everything back together.
I think your manual will probably describe this too.
I'll bet you washed bras in the machine without first placing them in a bag? Have you noticed any bras missing their underwires that went AWOL about the time the noise started?
I had daughters who did this. It apparently is the most common problem with these machines. I'm afraid I don't remember how we resolved it as it is a &^$#$*^ to get anything out from behind the drum.

Thank you both for your comments. Fulker, you're a genius...a penny is exactly what I found! I can't wait to tell my dad that his little girl fixed her noisy washer all by herself...well, sort of. ;-) Thanks again!!!
I had the same fault as described by suzybeth. I then took the same action recommended and found her penny in my washer. Go figure. That penny certainly gets around!

Thank you fulker, you're a genius, saved me $50, calling out AHS.
That penny sure is clean! What I want to know now, is, how did SuzyBeth's penny get from Donald's house to mine?
makes a loud clumking noise just before spin cycle, whole machine shakes
