No power supply on cpu in Acer Aspire One PC Notebook

If the power will come from the battery, make sure the battery is fully charged. If it's plugged in to a wall outlet, unplug both ends, make sure the outlet works, count to 10, plug everything back in. I hope the solution is as simple as this. Good luck!

Acer aspire will not turn on or charge

Hello bperez28,

There are 3 possible reasons for that problem.

1. Battery is dead or is not seated properly. Try removing the battery from your laptop and then replace it back. If the battery is dead, it will not charge anymore. If it is still under warranty, ask for a replacement.

2. Charger is malfunctioning. Try to plug it into a different know working plug outlet. You might need to replace the charger with a new one.

3. Motherboard issue. Needs servicing.

You need trial and error to know exactly which of those is the reason why your Laptop is malfunctioning. Try a different charger/battery BEFORE buying one.

You can contact ACER directly from this link:

Hi,
If after the replacing the AC adapter the problem still persists , the power board on the motherboard has gone bad. The same can be repaired, but would require you to take the system in for repairs. if the system is under warranty then the best thing to do is get the motherboard replaced.

Thanks

Laptop computer won't charge

Generally it depends on how old the laptop is..
If the laptop is staying on with the mains charger plugged in then its the battery that is probably gone.

Or it could be the mechanics inside the laptop that is stopping the battery from charging...

Recommend that you find a local vendor and get a new battery, or if the laptop is under warranty and you have the receipt bring it back to get fixed or the battery replaced.

If the Acer is brand new then it is under warranty. Take it back to where you bought the Acer and get it fixed under warranty. if you attempt to fix it yourself you will most likely void your warranty.

I have an acer aspire 5920 and it will not power on. It stopped working while someone was using it. I've already taken out the battery and unplugged it, nothing worked.

sounds like the power adapter or the unit itself. hopefully, it's just the power adapter-- was there/is there a light on it that tells you its plugged in or charging the computer? is that light still on when you plug in the computer to charge it? if not, call acer for a new power adapter, it's usually free if you're under warranty. if it's on, you may be in trouble that the computer is dead-- maybe a fried motherboard. to replace a motherboard is probably 200 bucks, to get a new low-end laptop is 499.... at least in the US, I dont know where you are,

Acer laptop 3620 battery will not charge

You may want to check the A/C port. Some the ports can come loose from the motherboard due to wear. Can you tell if the computer is getting a charge from the A/C adapter?
