My banner scope in 4 to 12 wii not hold zero - Bushnell BANNER RIFLE SCOPEPower: 3-9X40 / Reticle: Green/Red Illuminated

I'd start by looking at the mounting bases.
First tighten the scope ring screws to 25 inch pounds, then loosen and remove the rings from the base(s) while still attached to the scope.
Back out the base screws one at a time, apply low strength thread locking compound and tighten each to 25 inch pounds.
Remount the rings/scope to the bases tightening till snug but not overly tight and sight-in the rifle.

the batteries are located under the on off switch. catching the edge of it pull up and the switch should pop off revealing the batteries underneath.

Point of impact changes every time i shoot . if i tap scope lightly it will move the impact point

This is common to this scope thread has been over tightened and will no longer hold, replace scope

Bushnell Banner .22 scope with loose part inside.

It would be better to replace the minute you disassemble a scope unless resealed with special equipment it will never function as well nor will it be reliable and for a bushnell by time you payed for shipping to and from a repair place you'd be at cost of new so might as get new one which has newer glass types that are vastly better than 20 yrs ago
