Sony 36" Trinitron WEGA, I purchased this T.V. about 8 years ago. When it has been off for some time, upon initial power up the screen flickers for about 10-15 min. Once the screen has stopped flickering the picture is fine. If left on for a while I can turn it on like a half hour later without any flickering. Should I just ride this thing out until the picture goes completely out? Please let me know what you think. Thanks
Mark
Looks like your picture tube is dying, or there is a bust capacitor(s) inside...I'd recommend taking it to a service shop to get it repaired.
