The electric power to my house was temporarily interrupted, and since it was restored my Modern Maid wall oven has not worked. The timer and griller work, but the wall oven does not. Does the oven need to be reset, and how do I do this?

The timer is 110 volt, and the grill may also be . The oven, however, is 220 volt. Suggest you check your main circuit breaker box and reset the breaker set marked "oven" or something similar. This would be the exterior breaker box where power comes into the home.

I have a 2012 Thermidor single electric wall oven that the controls beep but doesn't work. We have had a few power interruptions. Any ideas on how to get things going?. Thanks

Good Morning,
Do you have the model number of your oven? It will be printed some where accessible, either on the rim of the oven door or inside the oven wall.
With that, I can better assist you. Thank you!

I have St. George Imperial Fan Forced Oven with Griller (Wall Oven) SGW FO need measurements and specs also model number ?? Can someone please help me have been looking on net for ages...Getting...

you should find the model number between the bottom of the griller door & the liner .. silly place really to get at... as you cannot remove the grill door as you can the oven door.
we have just rebuilt one from two we acquired ... best oven ever .... there will be a few different models as these were produced & cosmetically changed over a 20 yrs period. Ours now looks like a brand new oven as they are REAL baked enamel ... you can clean with caustic based product without any harm.
I am searching for a manual if anyone has one mine is 67/wdl.v.81.fo I presume the 81 in the number denotes 1981 manufacture.
Don't be fooled if you find the oven does not heat at some stage & everything else works ... this is usually after a cleaning & the auto on & off timer has been activated ...just a matter of setting back to manual mode.

Hope this helps although you have probably solved by now having posted in April 11.

Anyone have a manual for this model would be appreciated .

The oven tripped the main fuse switch to the house while on and when i restored power the clock on the oven came on but nothing else works no grill, oven, fan or lights ???

you have to set the clock befire anything works .if you have done that its could be that the element has failed and the fault current has damaged any of the contacts in the circuit which can be themostat ,timer contact thermal cut out contacts. failure of the timer contacts would leave nothing working

My 30" wall oven oven won't heat up. the clock works and it allows me to put in bake, 350 degrees, but the elements don't heat up. we had a storm and the power flickered on and off several times. is there...

There is a safety thermostat (thermal fuse) on the back wall of the oven that interrupts power from L1 to the Bake and Broil elements. This fails open on an over-temperature or over-current condition. The oven needs to come out of the wall to replace it - best left to a tech unless you are experienced in such things.

I had to cut the electricity in the house temporarily, now my gas aga cooker's fan [ vent] has stopped, and the temperature in the oven is dropping ---- any ideas?

The circuits in the devices have reset to a safe condition should the power be interrupted. They MAY require you disable power for a few minutes and then repower and THEN do some sort of a reset.

Modern Maid Wall Oven DGO757 ignitor gets orange, but does not fire oven.

HI, there are gas valve coils that initiate the opening and closing of the gas valves. these coils will become unstable overtime. if the coils are malfunctioning, it will cause the symptoms you are experiencing with your oven at this time. i recommend replacing the failing gas valve coils asap if possible.

It should be two or maybe three coils that are attached to the valve assembly(burner assembly). they are black and, cylindrical in design. replace these coils.

WHY WON'T MY OVEN HEAT UP?

Most modern gas ovens and many broilers use a "glow-bar" style of igniter that glows red-hot to ignite the gas. If the igniter doesn't reach the proper temperature, the gas valve won't open. You may need to replace the igniter.
