Deleting songs. I got this for christmas and i tried deleting the music it came with.  It deleted them but it still on my mp3 player. and i have songs that are ''bad tracks'' and they wont delete either. the bad tracks are also not bad tracks. so that means that i have the same songs that arent bad tracks.

Isn't it that you just go to my computer and delete it there?
It says to delete it entirely from it.

Deleting songs.

Your DB might be corrupt. Folow the delete procedure one more time:
Delete Music Files
1) Connect your Sansa to the computer.
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection.
3) Select the place where you want to delete music files from
4) Highlight and delete the music file/s or folder from My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\MUSIC
folder. (You can also select from a variety of music
software programs to transfer/synchronize your files).

If that fails, go ahead and update the firmware - it will delete everything, and allow you to start over from scratch among other things.

Deleting files

You have to plug the mp3 player into the computer, double-click My Computer, double click on the icon of the GoGear, and then go into the Music folder - exercise caution: only delete music files - if you delete files that are non-music files, you will effectively destroy your GoGear.

Windows Media Player is more complex, but it is a safer way to delete songs:
