Hi I bought a Canon digital IXUS 95 IS but it is missing the Digitsl Camera Solutions disk so I am unable to upload images to my PC. How can I get this software or CD ? Thanks. Sean Quinn

Try uninstalling then reinstalling your camera software. Maybe your camera software simply doesn't like IE8. Unlikely though. An upgrade of drivers may be in order.
The best way to upload pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.
There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".
The good news is that both of these Canon Cameras will work with just about any photo software you want to use. The choice of which program to use can be based on which one you like best, which one is easiest for you to work with. Some of your older disks may not work in Vista, so that may limit your choices. One possible alternative is to try Irfanview, which is a free and very highly rated image editor program.
