Panasonic Toughbook I have a panasonic japanese w4 -how can I get into the bios or setup? Pressing F2 doesn't work. Thanks!

When the word 'Panasonic' appears on bootup, press F2 repeatedly.

Press "F2" on your keyboard when you see the Panasonic logo appear on the screen. You will immediately be prompted to enter your Panasonic Toughbook Cf-29 BIOS password. Type the word "Biostar" into the password prompt. This is your Panasonic Toughbook Cf-29 backdoor BIOS password. Press the "Enter" key to unlock your Panasonic Toughbook Cf-29 BIOS.

On ALL Panasonic Toughbooks you can
boot into safe mode as follows:

Make sure the Toughbook is OFF.

Power on the Toughbook and immediately
start to press repeatedly the "F8" function key
which is usually located above the number 7 key.

You only have 2-3 seconds to do this and this
will only work in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

A "text-only" screen will come up. You can then
choose SAFE MODE or if you also need to
connect to the internet choose:
Safe Mode with Networking.

Use the UP or Down Arrows to highlight the
selected option and then press Enter.

That is it.

To get into the built-in setup utility on a Panasonic
CF29 Toughbook, please turn on the unit and immediately
press the "F2" function key repeatedly.

As long as your unit has a working keyboard, the setup utility
should open. If no password is required, then you can enter
the setup utility and make changes.

Please be careful about making changes. If you make a
change and then want to go back, you can either exit and
discard changes, or you can set factory defaults in the last
(right side) selection and then exot and save changes.

The first thing I would try on any Panasonic Toughbook with touchscreen would be to enter the BIOS upon start-up by pressing the "F2" function key. When you are in the BIOS, there is a setting on the 2nd screen tab "Main" which says "Touchscreen:". This should be set to "Enable" instead of Disable. Then you press the "F10" function key and the message: "Save configuration changes and exit now?". Press "Yes" and the toughbook will reboot and your Touchscreen will be enabled at the BIOS level.

On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.

try to reboot it again.then while your b\PC is booting press F8 or F2 or DEL to enter bios setup.then that you can change the time and date of your bios.

When the laptop is first powered on, the Panasonic name appears & the phrase 'Press F2 to enter setup When press F2 on your keyboard. You may need to press it 2 or more times

there is an xp usb flash disc version.
