I don't recognize the dialog box you describe as being anything I have ever seen on a Mac. Perhaps you could provide us with the EXACT text of the error message; then someone will be able to help you.

It could be that the location of the application is what has changed. Try launching your Safari from the application folder and see if you get by the dialog box and to a successful program launch.

Hello 505abhilash ,
Please read carefully to resolve this Issue >
Why It comes -
The 633 error is a connection problem that appears every time you try to use the modem on your computer. It states "modem is already in use" and prevents you from accessing the Internet. This problem mostly appears when a device with incompatible drivers has conflicts with the modem driver on your computer system. The major software that causes this error is the Palm Pilot Software. With some simple troubleshooting steps, resolve this modem communication error.
How to resolve -
Follow these steps -
  • 1-Shut down all currently running applications and restart your computer. Press "F8" repeatedly before Windows begins to open the Windows Advanced Options Menu.

  • 2-Scroll down and select "Safe Mode." Press "Enter" to log into Windows Safe Mode. Safe Mode is used for troubleshooting and repairing system components.
  • 3-Click the Windows "Start" button and select the "Control Panel." Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" to open the programs window. Click "Program and Features" (Windows Vista users) and select "Uninstall a Program" to open the programs window.

  • 4-Click the incompatible software (e.g., Palm Desktop and Synchronization Software) and select "Change/Remove." Click "Yes" to confirm and uninstall the program from your computer.

I cant get connect to a internet everytime i click internet explorer it say cant find a dsn error or internet explorer i have internect service at home and still cant get connected

are you sure its DSN and not a DNS error if the latter
Open your Internet Explorer browser. It doesn't matter what page your browser opens to as long as it is open. Click on the Tools option at the top of your Internet Explorer screen. Next, click on Internet Options followed by security Tab In the Security Tab, click on the Custom Level tab located at the bottom of the screen. Check the Medium security level drop down box once on the Custom Level screen. You will also need to browse through the options find the setting Access Data Across Domains and put a check in that box to enable the feature. Finally choose the Apply option and the exist the program. You might need to restart your computer for the changes to apply hope this helps

I cant get on the internet with my sylvania 7" netbook,I lost my desktop Icons ,I still 2 Icons ,Computer and trash. John J Reno ...

Hello,

recent updates and newly installed programs usually are the cause of this problem. Updates can install some programs on your system with you not knowing.

First, try to perform a system restore on your computer. System restore can help to back date your computer to the time when the browser was working. It will revert changes made on your computer.

Go to Start > All programs > Accessories > System tools > System restore. Read and follow instructions on the system restore page before proceeding.

Your computer will be restarted after the system restore is completed. Thereafter, you can try to open your browser.

Secondly, internet virus can cause this problem. But try the system restore first, and let me have the outcome. So that If the above doesn't solve the problem, I could direct you further on what to do.

Good luck.

Cant connect to the internet

Your TCP/IP stack may be corrupted. This can be caused by malware or by the installation of networking software. This also cuold be the result of disinfection of spyware.

Click START...type CMD in the search box. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to run the command prompt as an administrator. Next type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt window then press Enter.

Type exit then hit Enter. Restart your computer and try connecting to the Internet. If this fix doesn't work you may need to remove the PCTOOLS program...instructions are at this link.

Certain anti-malware programs have been known to corrupt the winsock catalog unwittingly.

Good Luck!

System error

That sounds very odd. Have you tried going to add/remove programs to see if its there? If so, uninstall it.

If it isn't listed there then you can remove it from your start up folder. In Windows XP you can right click the Start button, go to explore, left click Programs in the left hand pane, left click Startup in the left hand pane, delete reference to the program in the right hand pane.

If it isn't there then it's in your registry. You can check if there is reference to it under the following key but be very very careful when working in the registry as it can cause issues to delete the wrong thing.

Click Start, in the run area type in regedit.
Go to this key: hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

Need to speed up my computer.

there are several areas that slow. you can address them one at a time.
1. internet... download and run ATF Cleaner here www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1 -
Run it everytime you exit your internet broswer, always run it twice and look for the "no files found" message. this free program belongs on everyone's desktop and almost eliminates the need for spyware programs.
2. Programs-- go to your programs list and UNINSTALL (NOT DELETE) any old programs your not using-- if there's no uninstall for the program, do it from the add/remove software area of the control panel.
3.remove all entries from the start-programs-startup folder.. This will not uninstall programs, just keep them from starting untill you actually need them (imagaine that)
4. Start- run- type in MSCONFIG, click the startup tab at the top. uncheck all boxes for stuff like yahoo messenger, real player, quicktime....make sure you dont touch the ones for your virus programs and video and sound cards. restart the computer, asnwer ok when it says you've changed things.
5. Get a can of canned air unplug the computer from power take the side or back off the case and blow all the cobwebs out. especially the fans and metal finned heatsincs under them.
there is more , but this should speed ya up a bit.
Regards..

Reinstall the Internet Explorer, that will help.
U can reinstall Internet Explorer by clicking on start, control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, remove a checkmark next to Internet Explorer.
Then restart the computer.
Again go to start, control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, put a checkmark next to Internet Explorer.
Then apply, ok and again restart the computer.
Try to connect to internet and then check.
It will not close again.
Its possible that something might have been downloaded accidently and that is interfering with the internet.
It should work.
Otherwise, go to start, run, msconfig, startup, disable all, apply, ok and he restart the computer.
It will block some programs that may interfere with ur Wireless Internet Access.
It will work.
