This has been happening for some time now. Yahoo says they are working on it but for now try this:

1) Update Adobe Flash Player 2) Update Internet Explorer to IE8 3) Update Java 4) Clear IE cache, cookies, and browsing history. 5) Some find that a
return to Yahoo classic mail improves things. 6) You could also try an
alternative browser like Firefox or Google Chrome.
I reported problem to yahoo through the link(contact us) and reported problem..had to do it a couple of times, but problem did get fixed. I am able to access my email now. PHEw!
