Hello Dude !

There reasons why your DVD tray won't eject
1, a cd got stuck inside
2, Motor belts are loose
3, Loading motor faulty
4, Main loading gear damaged
5, Somebody must have pushed the loading cd tray forcing it to load and waiting for it to load the cd by its self so it has jumped its setting .
If so you have to remove the loading tray and put back correclty then it should load by its self .

Good luck

Lock

Hi there,

The disc lock function has been activated on your JVC XV-N320, when in this mode the tray cannot be opened or closed.

If you press the 'eject' button whilst pressing down the 'stop' button on the machine in standby mode the disc lock will deactivate. To turn it back on you follow the same procedure. This is also described in the user manual for this model of TV umder trouble shooting on page 13.

Hope this helps,

James

I have a xv n330 dvd player and it says lock when I try to take out the dvd in the player and it says lock.

When you press the eject botton while pressing down the stop botton on the unit in
standby mode, the tray lock function is activated. The disc tray
cannot be opened or closed in this status. To release this
status, press the eject botton while pressing down the stop botton on the unit in standby
mode.

MY jvc dvd player is displting "locked" how do i unlock?

Though it may be different for different models, the JVC XV-N40 DVD Player LOCK can be disengaged (and engaged) by pressing the [EJECT] button while holding-down the [STOP] button. Yes, it's that simple but I had to search online to find it too.

Here's a link to the material that comes with the player in the box:
