  • Anonymous Mar 17, 2014

When task completed, it now Says "Open the door and replace Yellow (Y) toner cartridge with compatible yellow toner" The Serial number on replacement toner is correct when viewed against the supplies list, we cannot print and or copy until justified. Help!

I have the replacement fuser assembly, and I found the original on the machine, but I can't get the original out. The user guide I have (from Xerox) doesn't specify how to do this, and I don't want just to start yanking on things (that could result in burned fingers, broken parts, and voided warranties). So, how do I get the old fuser assembly out and the new one in?

Need confirmation that fax was sent to the correct fax number and that the number of pages were sent after each fax transmission. How do we select that?

For fax problems, use a analog phone, plug it in. Hear the dial tone, make sure it is a good dial tone, with no static or cutting off. <br /> Use another phone and call to that phone, see if the phone answers and listen to it. Make sure there is no phone noise.<br /> Hang up, and dial to an other phone. See if it answers and also listens to the phone receiver end. Make sure the line sounds good and no noise to it.<br /> What we are looking for is this. One needs to validate the correct phone number to the fax machine.<br /> The other is, to validate the phone number one is trying to call is a known good fax line other machine answers and not an operator or a recording.<br /> If the machine does not receive faxes, the machine is not answering to the ring.<br /> The machine configuration needs to be checked to make sure the setting to receive faxes are inline and correct.(Auto answer, manual answer, etc)<br /> If all of these areas are correct it is possible the fax board is not functioning properly, sending works, but receive will not work. This is a indication the fax board needs to be replaced.<br /> Placing a service call is really a good idea due to the complication of service repair involved in doing the repairs.<!-- from fixya rte -->

Blank page when I copy or print reports

Re check all the connections. When taking off the paper feed assay, other parts and plug and jack connections were needed to be taken off first.
Make sure the drum seats in its correct position, silver grounds are not bent.
The copy cartridge and Dev housing are not connecting very good somewhere.
Make sure the machine is unplugged.
Try running copies.

Xerox WorkCentre XD125F- need manual

You can get the spec sheet and the user's guide as PDFs here:
http://www.support.xerox.com/go/results.asp?prodID=XD125f&Xlang=en_US&Xcntry=USA&Xtype=docs&prodName=WorkCentre%20XD125f%20Digital%20Copier%20-%20Laser%20Printer
The spec sheet has the toner cartridge and drum cartridge part numbers (listed as Supplies)

Toner Cartridge 6R914;
Drum Cartridge 13R551

When copier has printed about 18,000 pages the J2 drum cartridge light will come on. The unit will print about another 1,000 pages before the unit stops working until the drum cartridge is replaced.

I hope this helps.

Right side of Print Out is faded. Cleaned, and Cleaned. Doesn't say to change drum/ink. What else can we try?

You can try shaking the toner cartridge to even out the toner but most likely either need a new toner cartridge or the drum is not sitting evenly as it should.
