Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.
4. Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

I have a Nikon d3300 that turns off automatically after i take a photo - can you assist

If the screen display is shutting off, that's a normal function. If the camera is entirely shutting off it might be a bad battery or a very weak battery.

My camera turns on then quickly turns off.

This is usually a low/bad battery problem. Remove the batteries from your camera and make sure the battery and camera contacts are clean. If using alkaline batteries, try a fresh set. If using rechargeable batteries, recharge them for several hours. If a recharge doesn't work, you may need a new battery set. eBay is a good source for reasonably priced replacement batteries.

Camera turns on and then off

Sometimes this happens when the batteries are low. These cameras seem to use up battery power pretty quickly. You might want to try using rechargeable "hybrid" batteries.

Camera shut's off real quick

If you have an AC adapter, use it to power the camera while you try to change the setup in the menu. The camera may have been set to go to sleep mode very quickly. Please ensure that the rechargeable batteries are NiMH and are fully charged. If all this doesn't help, youre going to have to take it in for repair. Hewlett Packard is the only place that repairs this equipment.

Camera turns off

Reset the camera. This may fix it. Is there a reset button on it? I have a GS-120 and I have to hit the reset button when the red light is flashing.
