Why is my sub zero fridge model 590 warming up?

Hi fridges will warm up on the outside as they remove heat from the inside. excessive heat with not extreme cooling inside the fridge indicates a possible degridation of coolant fluid or a leak. as the motor tries to cool the fridge the thermostat inside stays on as the tempreture inside has not been reached. if you hear the motor/ pump continually running this will indicate a cooling problem.

What is causing my sub zero moled 590 , made in feb 93 to gradually warm up?

yeah vacuuming behind the fridge is a good start this will help the fridge preform better as when dust builds up on the condenser it will cause the discharge to be hotter than it should be making the cooling in the case not as efficient. i would start by removing the pannel in the fridge and seeing if any ice is on the evaporator

I HAVE A MODEL 650 AND I CANNOT GET THE FRONT GRATE OFF TO CLEAN THE CONDENSOR. I HAVE TAKEN THE SPRINGS OFF BUT SOMETHING ELSE IS HOLDING THE BOTTOM OF THE GRATE.

there are three screw on the bottom side that hold it down take them out it will come off

Sub zero refrigerator ice dispenser functions intermittently. Refrigerator has to turn off then on again in order to get ice dispenser up and running.

Could be wiring problem. Better to call for service.

I bought my side by side refrigorator years ago and the front door panels are showng spots of rust.I customed ordered this refrigerator and paid 1800.00 Is their anything that can be done about this.

search ebay for "SUB ZERO STAINLESS STEEL REFRIGERATOR PANELS". I sumbled upon these guys one day, and looks like they can make panels for most fridges.

remove the crisper drawers and you will see a drain trough and a drain line . One or both is most likely blocked. If you pull the drain line off the trough usually you can clear it with a turkey baster filled with hot water

Given the model serial number I could get your decorative panels. The door itself is a framed door and designed to take a 1/4" insert. You can have new panels made if you have changed the cabinets, order stainless steel panels or put another material of your choosing. If you would like the more about the panels reply with mod and ser number which is in the freezer door jamb at eye level. Open the door past 90 degrees and look in.
