You need to manually pull the ink cartridges out. Just plug the unit and POWER it ON. When the print heads move, pull out the power cord from the wall outlet to abruptly turn it OFF. Now you can freely more the heads and pull out the cartridges.

Print cartridge craddel is stuck

Stuck, as in it won't move to the position for a ink-cartridge change, when you tell it that you want to make a change, or stuck as in physically "frozen" into one position.

What's cheaper: buying a new printer (that accepts the same cartridges as your current HP printer), or paying a qualified technician $50 to $75 to _try_ to fix it?

Print Cartridge stuck

Look at the pad on the right side of the printer under where the ink cartridges are loaded. It may have ink deposits built up into lumps which interfere with the movement of the cartidges on the rod. Clean the deposits by scraping the lumps and removing all debris. This worked for me.

Toner stuck on green roller of cartridge so i'm getting poor print quality

You need to replace the cartridge. it is faulty. there is a spot on that cartridge that is not properly magnetized so it is retaining toner instead of releasing it. you can clean it off but will most likely continue to have the same problem. Clean it with a lint free cloth or paper towel DRY. Do not use any chemicals or water if the toner is salvageable then that would ruin it.

Print cartridge cradle is stuck ican't find where it is jammed

This might help . . . Mine finished printing one doc & then made a terrible noise & sent a message to my screen that "print cartridge cradle is stuck." When i opened door, i could see it was stuck off to the left side so left cartridge was obscured. I could not get it to budge, although i kept turning it off, gently pushing & turning it back on. Finally, i got my hand inside & determined that the little door to the left-side cartridge had popped open & was causing it to remain stuck. After some struggles (turn off printer first!) i was able to maneuver it around & close it tight. Now, all is well . . .

HP Photosmart 7450 stuck cartridge

not a solution, my paper feeds past the point where printer5.gif would normally begin. Then flashing light changes from green to red and print operation stops. Printer cartridge1.gif appears to be stuck in far right area of cartridge track.

Replaced drivers as above and still have the same problem.
Mine started after I had replaced the color cartridge. Mailed the old one to HP already so can't put in old cartridge.

If I unplug printer from computer, I get same results. Does the driver software install in the printer?

Ink cartridge

Not quite sure what you mean but if it is stuck under the housing then that would give the error. Could it be that the cartridge wasn't installed straight and this has caused it to become jammed?
