The courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit also provides battery positive voltage to the rear compartment lamp. When the rear compartment is opened, its switch closes to provide a ground circuit and the rear compartment lamp illuminates. Ground is provided at G104.


Is the switch struck ?

CD / DVD and most optical drives - Manual eject by sticking a straightened paperclip in the tiny hole and gently push open.

This means that something in the mechanism is jammed. It keeps on trying to correct for the misalignment- a service technician will need to see the unit.

fuse needs to be replaced. probably in the engine compartment or under dash.

Try checking all of your fuses. Quite often a fuse blows when batteries or alternators are changed. There should be a fuse box in the engine compartment and another under the dash.

Open My Computer, right click on the icon for the cd unit and click Eject.

You don't have to use force here u just open top cover detach the dvd compartment and replace the loading tray motor belt they do expand after a period of time thus making the cd tray to open.

This is where u can use your screw driver to remove your cd by opening the screws on the cd cover compartment .

please see on cd drive u seen 1 small hole insert small stick in open tray .

get a butter knife and force the cd tray to open try not to force to hard that it breaks but enough that it might kick in the eject by itself

my pd f100 disc pioneer is blinking and the first 25 disc compartment was sticking...i opened and found the main loading system was in the way of the 25 disc compartment...the compartment was rubbing on the loading system...i am trying to back up my loading system without breaking to re start the process and stop blinking...if anyone can help let me know...marc---- yours is probably starting to rub....also,the sping under the compartment needs crazy glue so it doesn't shift....that is another sticking factor i found on mine also.the spring wants to move underneath... open your panel and make sure not to touch any circuit boards...some of them --you have to be grounded or you'll fry it....
