I hava a hp 13" laptop that wont show wireless option in the internet properties. I have a wireless Lan Mini PCI card, but it is not being detected. Is there away to re enable the wireless?

Hi. Please check first if your computer was able to detect the device. You can look for this device in control panel then click system then click device manager. Your wireless adapter should be present under network adapters. f computer was able to detect the wireless adapter. Try to turn off/on the wireless switch. Usually, wireless switch is located infront of the laptop or on the side. You can also try pressing Fn + F5 key to disable/enable wireless network card.

How do i turn the wireless radio on, is there a physical switch on the machine or keyboard?

The D600 has no hardware switch. Does the wireless device show up in your hardware device list? (Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware tab/Device Manager button/Network adapters). Mine shows up there as a Dell Wireless 1450 Dual band mini-PCI card. There are others that it could be. If it appears, double click on it and check it's device status. If no wireless appears there, then look for a possible unknown device under 'other'. If it is under 'other' then you need a driver.
Also, click Start/Control Panel/Network connections. You should see the wireless listed there. It could be disabled. Right click on it for options.
A lot more could be said, but try that for now.

I don't remember how to activate the wireless card on my zt affinity laptop I must have pressed something to turn it off

to activate and deactivate wireless you hold down the blue fn key and press F4 with the little radar waves on it, each press toggles it on and off.

also you can right click on my network places and choose properties to see your network connections, check there that the wireless adapter is not disabled, if it is, right click and choose enable there too.

Hiii all plz help me with this ... cant open my wirless network in my toshiba laptop ..always says "the wireless network device is disabled plz turn on the device" despite it is enabled how zat???? thnxx

The device may be enabled but is the radio switch in the "on" position. These are different. There is either a switch or keyboard combination that turns on the wireless radio. If everything is "on" then try this.
