Memory Full Error

I just bought a memory card (sandisk I think). After inserting the card, the "memory full" message appeared. I deleted all of my pictures on the camera after inserting the new memory card and still have the "memory full" message. The phone allowed me to copy pictures to the memory card once, and then the second time I tried (after deleting all the pictures on the card) it's telling me it's full. It is obviously not full as it works on my boyfriend's Samsung phone moments later

I have a motorola Razr V3M that keeps giving me a "memory full" error whenever I try to text. I've cleaned out my text files and when I check the memory I still have plenty of memory left.

I have the same problem. I can no longer install new programs because I get the memory full message. I reset the phone before and it worked again but after a while the same problem returned. I can't even change the ringer style. The memory full error occurs when the phone tries to set the new setting.

I have the same probley with my samsung sync sgh-a707. Sometimes it reads the card fine. Other times it cannot read the card at all and asks me if I want to format it. I have to take it out and put it back in repeatedly until it starts working again.

The problem is with your phone not the memory card. To better solve this problem I will need the model and make of your phone.

Installing SD Memory Card

Your camera has a memory card slot that enables you to insert any "SD" compatible memory card up to 8BG. Adding a memory card will allow you to increase the capacity of your camera before you have to transfer photos and videos to your PC. Install the SD memory card as below:

  1. Locate the Memory Card slot within the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the Memory card into the slot in the correct direction. (see the sketch below)

  1. Push the card in until you feel it "click" into position. The top of the card should be flushed with the surface of the camera. An icon will appear on the LCD screen after you turn on your camera.
  2. Once the external memory card is inserted into the camera all the images taken with the camera will be stored on the card.

Note:

  1. Limited internal memory is provided for test images. The image will be deleted when camera power is turned off. Please download the images before power off .SD memory card is required for normal use.
  2. An external memory card is required for normal use. Your camera supports any compatible SD memory card (up to 8GB).
  3. If there is a photo in the internal memory when you insert the card into your camera, a "Copy to card" message will appear on the LCD with Yes or No options. On selecting 'Yes' the photo will now be copied to your card.
  4. Formatting will delete all data on the SD memory card including protected data.

Can an 8GB microSDHC card be used in my Sansa Fuze 4GB mp3 player

Actually, it sounds as if the card is working. The more you have on the card, the more free internal memory you'll need so it can build its media database. Remove the card, then delete some files from the internal memory to free up space. Then reinsert the card.

Memory full, delete some data

Step1 Perform a soft format of your phone by dialing *#7370# just as you would any other phone number. This will erase the contents of the phone's internal drive. Step2 Use a hard format only if absolutely necessary; this sequence will reset your phone back to its original factory settings. Step3 Turn your phone off. Step4 Hold down the green answer, * and 3 buttons. Step5 Switch the phone on without releasing the buttons. Step6 Release the buttons when "aFormattinga" appears on the screen.

You need to format the SD memory card using the camera format function. The manual should tell you how to do this. If you don't have the manual, you can download it from the samsung website.
