Make sure that it's charged. Go thru the instruction on how to program your BT for your phone and make sure that your phone is set to pickup BT. the default passcode for your BT to set to your phone is 0000 or 1234.

It's a little bit tricky, the Sciphone must be ready before turning the headset on. Default code for the headset is 0000.

Look at your manual for your bluetooth....should be a passcode.
A Motorola H350 ear pce. is 0000.

My new phone can't even detect this plantronics

The sciphones have a VERY SHORT area to use bluetooth devices. I have contacted numerous companies about this. Mine works, but I need to have my sciphone on my shoulder while I am using the bluetooth headset. This sucks, but so far that is the only way I have gotten mine to work properly. Hope this info helps a little.
