Hi, It likely will tell you in your owners manual, but if you push & hold the alarm button it should stop after several moments ( I think it may actually be 30-60 sec.) That should reset the alarm. However, if the thermistor senses the temp. to be too warm the alarm will return. Hope that helps, let me know. Good luck.
Hello,
Sorry I couldn`t get back to you sooner, I was working late today.
OK, I was able to pull up your model of freezer. It should have a rocker switch at the bottom right hand corner by the grill. Along with the switch will be a red/orange light and green light. You should be able to toggle it off until the unit is cold enough to satisfy the alarm if it hasn`t already.
Hope that helps, good luck.

Hello grega1959 - If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer will sound and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to the unit. This can be done by either by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on the freezer. After deactivating the alarm and the unit has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, the freezer may possibly have a communication problem with the temperature control, control board, or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with a professional appliance tech for a clear-cut diagnosis.

The manual is somewhere. There is no button to push - only the on/off switch for the alarm.
Thanks.
The alarm cleared overnight.
