Troubelshooting of YDP 530 DVD player

I have a YDP 530 DVD player bought 1 year ago. When I put the disc in, appears the message " NO DISC", and trying to read the DVD, it makes a strange sound.

I have the exact same problem. On the back of the unit it gives an old http: address that doesn't work. How do I get support?

tengo exactamente el mismo problema. Lo he enviado a un taller de electrónica en dos ocaciones y despues de un corto tiempo vuelve el mismo problema.

1. I hope you checked the user manual for your DVD player to determine if your problem is in the list of troubleshooting issues.

2. Check if the disk you put into the DVD player is compatible to play in your machine. Did you try to play a Blu-Ray disk in the DVD player? If so, trying to play a non-compatible disk will result in in the No Disk or Error message.

3. Make sure the compatible disk is inserted into the player tray with the readable side of the disk facing downward.

After inserting a DVD to play a bought film or recorded disc a message comes up in the display saying No Disc

It may be dust built up and you have to get a DVD insert that's made especially for cleaning the inside of the player

Check for cracks or scratches on the dvd disc?It a dvd movie disc,not a computer program dvd disc?Take the dvd disc,washes it with some dish washing soap.To clean all the grims and grease out of the dvd disc laser surface to the dvd player laser eye to read the dvd disc.
