Had a power failure last night. Range will not work now. Clock light is on and an amber PF (power failure) light is on, but nothing else works. There is 220 volts to the range.

PF indicates a Power Failure. Turn off the power supply (for 30 seconds or more) to the unit and then back on, select/touch the range cancel/clear pad and reset the clock. The range should work again, unless there was damage to the control during the power interruption.
I understand that your Frigidaire range overheated, so you unplugged it and plugged it in the next morning. I also see that when you plugged it back in there was a "PF" code displayed as well as some melted plastic. The "PF" code means that there was a power failure. You can clear that by pressing any button. As far as your appliance overheating and melting plastic, I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly for further assistance. They might be able to point you in the right direction to have it repaired. Hope this is helpful.
If you have a power failure or a brown out, it sends a very powerful current through the unit. Please keep in mind that these units are not protected against any surges. If you have a display, that means you have power. Unfortunately, the clock/timer contains relays that control the elements, the oven, etc. You will need to replace the clock to get it running again.
This is a power failure code.Cheeck the main power supply and make sure the circuit breaker is ok then you should be able to press the clear off key and see if the unit will reset.
F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect. Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).

PF means power failure. For short outages the clock may still have correct time (there is a battery backup for that), but the PF will be displayed. Setting the clock will clear the PF indication.
Press 'clock set-start' button, (under clock display) enter time with numeric keypad, press 'start' button. (to right of clock)
