The only way to get that clip is on a new heatsink. Yes, you'll need to buy a new one. The link provided may help;

These do vary depending on the Socket. (754/939/940/AM2). Check your manual for your socket type.

Hope you find this helpful!

If you are innovative enough one can improvise by simply hold the fan to the heat sink with copper wire in case only one bracket is broken. The fan only requires to be on the heat sink to remove heat from the processor. Otherwise the fan & heat sink as one sealed unit only. Else try out the junk yard and see if you can hunt for one where PC's are dumped !

However if you want your PC to last for 2-3 yrs more, trouble-free, then my recommendation would be to replace the fan+heat sink unit, 'cos if the heat conducting paste between the processor & heat sink, if disturbed cannot be replaced to its original capacity & the processor will overheat and the PC will auto shut down repeatedly, till the processor is damaged permanently! .............................sodeep

Can I replace the bracket that the overhead console mounts to without removing the headliner?

Remove the visor clips on both sides of the overhead console bracket. You can then pull down the headliner just enough to slide the bracket out over the rearview mirror.

The passenger side window, something broke down in the door, the motor for the power windows still works, but there is nothing holding the window up? What broke? Is it a do it yourself job to fix it?

Its the window regulator thats broke. Most are made with plastic brackets and cable. The plastic breaks and the cable goes nuts then nothing is holding the window. You need to get a regulator, if you can take the door panel off you should be able to handle installing the window regulator.

How do i replace the radiaor? on this 2005 Hyundai do i remove the intake cover, then the cooling fan, the the motor mount? what?

Below are instructions and a diagram for removing the radiator from your Santa Fe. There's nothing involving the motor mounts. Best of luck and please post back with any questions or just to rate the solution. Greg

  1. Drain the cooling system. Remove the radiator cap to speed draining.
  2. Remove the inlet hose from the radiator.
  3. Remove the transmission oil cooler lines from the retainer clip at the bottom of the cooling fan shroud.
  4. Remove the fan shroud clip from the condenser tubes.
  5. Remove the bolt that connects the fan shroud to the condenser hold down bracket.
  6. Remove the air deflectors from the top of the radiator.
  7. Remove the cooling fan shroud bolts.
  8. Remove the coolant reservoir hose from the radiator overflow neck.
  9. Remove the radiator upper support brackets and bolts that connect to the fan shroud.
  10. Disconnect the engine cooling fan motors electrical connectors.
  11. Remove the cooling fan motors electrical harness from the fan shroud clips.
  12. Remove the cooling fan shroud.
  13. Remove the outlet hose from the radiator.
  14. Disconnect the transaxle oil cooler pipes from the radiator.
  15. Tilt the top of the radiator rearward.
  16. Remove the condenser hold down bracket from the radiator.
  17. Lift the condenser from the mounting tabs on the radiator and position the condenser aside.
  18. Remove the radiator.

You can buy the brackets or seat frame seperatly.
The thing is that you have to take the seat out and disassemble the whole thing to replace the bracket.

The cpu heatsink clip has come apart, would like to know how to fix. the model is hp pavilion 734.uk

http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-Socket-478-HEATSINK-RETENTION-BRACKET-Module-ONLY_W0QQitemZ170211538308QQihZ007QQcategoryZ14293QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That's what usually breaks if you have a 478 pin cpu. Should be available in any computer shop. If the actual metal bracket on the heatsink broke you will have to buy a new fan/heatsink. Both solutions are cheap.
