I can't figure out how to remove shortcuts from the home screen of my LG Chocolate Touch. I can drag shortcuts such as calendar or calculator to my home screen so that I can simply open them in one touch. However, I accidentally added a shortcut two shortcuts that I will never use. How can I remove them?

mine is doing the exact same thing.. i have no idea how to fix it either. let me know if you figure something out!

you just go to your shortcuts on the touch screen, touch clock widget and when you've picked the one you want, you just drag it to the home screen

Touch the shortcut and hold down. A trashcan becomes visible to the right of the screen. Drag the shortcut to the trash can.

that ^ is for the internal clock, for the external clock, you need to go to your shortcuts and add 'clock widget" then u grab that shortcut and drag it to the top of your screen

1. Go to settings menu -> Display settings -> Shortcut Bin to "ON"
2. Now on the home screen you will see the little tab for the shortcut bin.
3. Now press and drag the shortcut you want to remove from the home screen.
4. The little tab on the right hand side will turn into a bin :)
5. Now just drag the shortut onto the bin and your shortcut is removed from the home screen .

All you did was drag it on accident to the main screen. Just drag it back into the shortcuts menu.

you drag the shortcut with your finger to the corner of your phone where the little blue arrow is. it should go away

I had purchased and am currently using the LG dare. The issue that I had with the icons apprearing on my main screen was that I was accidentally holding down and dragging the icons from my shortcut menu to the main screen. The easiest way to get rid of the icons from the main screen is to hold down the icon and drag it to the little arrow for the shortcut menu, and it should dissapear.( I just did it on mine so it should wok for you).
If that doesn't work, open you shortcuts menu, hit the set button and remove the icon from the shorcut menu (this should remove it from the main screen as well.)
