Delonghi pac w160a...''no water symbol'' stops on in airconditioning mode even though water tank is full

  • Anonymous Mar 11, 2012

Anyone had any joy resolving this issue? As per many other posters, we also have the PACw160a model and this model does not seem to have a reset button in the power cable storage hole. I would be game to crack it open if the issue is possible related to a stuck sensor. Anyone have a proper service manual they'd be willing to share?
    Cheers

In the back of these units where the cord pulls out, there is usually a red reset button, try pushing that to reset the unit, also make sure the filter is clean, pulls from the top out of the unit. Make sure the coils are clean as well behind the filter.

Good Luck!

DeLonghi (W160B) Portable Air Conditioner "No Water" symbol is still on despite the water tank being full

Tank hols 14 litres water where you fill there is a indicator if that is clear the tank is not full has to be red to be full. The water fill symbol will then go out.

The unit pac02 was working fine but it stopped after few weeks. What to do?

check the condensate tank and empty if needed, then make sure tank is installed correctly so float switch is not stuck in the full position

I have the same problem. My Delonghi AC (PAC W160A) shows no water symbol even the tank is full. I checked for the red button , but i couldn't locate any.

Please check float valve and sensor. Some times by mistakes the error could display. Reset it by removing power or batteries and then reset it.

Empty wateron DeLonghi Pinguino Pac L 90

That probably is Ft, meaning full tank. Look on the bottom of the back side, and there should be a small "hatch" that will open. The two small hoses in there are drain hoses that can be unplugged to drain the tank. They're right at the bottom, so if you have a way to raise the unit up a little that would let you drain the water into a container. Might be a good time to clean the filter too.

PAC L90 water tank capacity

when tank is full you will get the letters FE will signal a FULL TANK
(The tank is full)

You have it setup to constantly drain GOOD.
Should you should not plug the drain hoses to get colder air.
Do let it drain . It is more convenient!
If the unit is the proper BTU for the square footage of the area to be cooled it will be cold!
If the tank gets full you will not get cool air?
