The hose or nozzle could be plugged. The hose can be disconnected at the machine end there is a clip on the bottom of the connection. The fluid is dispensed by a pump which could be bad. If you disconnect the hose and put a rag at the opening to catch the fluid, then turn the machine on briefly the fluid should squirt out if the pump is working.

Is there a heater core in a Bissell pet ProHeat machineBissell pet ProHeat won't squirt water

Yes. Under the front handle yoke. The ā€œno sprayā€ is caused by a build up of soap from the wire. You might have to clean out the spray tubes on the bottom. Try running warm water with no soap after cleaning.

Hi There,

I'll be happy to walk you through step by step how you can attach the hose to your Hoover SteamVac.

Here are step by step instructions for you:

Step 1. To prevent possible leaking, remove
clean solution tank by pressing down on
tank handle (D) and pulling forward; set
tank aside (do not set tank on furniture2_bing.gif).
Remove hose from storage rack.

Step 5. Before connecting tube (H) to
cleaner, make sure black tabs are

upholstery Cleaning Connection”. Press
round solution tube connector onto
round projection inside door. Press connector
collar down firmly to ensure
that it is fully connected.

Step 6. The tank replaces in a hinge-like
manner. Position front of lid under tabs
(I) on front of tank. Rotate lid down onto
tank.
Make sure lid is secure on all sides
before cleaning.
For full suction, it is important that
the recovery tank lid is properly
secured before cleaning.
Reverse procedure to remove hose
and solution tube.
Raise carpet cleaner2_bing.gif handle to upright
position.

I have a bissel powersteamer and it quit spraying the solution on to the carpet... the jets are not blocked....how can i get it working again?

Does water squirt out of the hose nozzle, if it does, then check the heater inside the handle asm. Make sure that where the tubes hook up to it are not clogged. If water doesn't squirt, check for the seal at the bottom of the tank, it needs to be on the tank, not in the hole. The flow indictor cap is leaking air or maybe is too tight. If you had the top cover off, make sure that the tubes are routed right so as not to get pinched when the cover is put back on, the smart mix knob should be in the water setting and that the piston is on the bottom of the smart mix knob. Pump is bad. You can try putting a solution of vinegar and water, running that may clean out blockages.

No water spray

Does water shot from the hose when you depress the trigger? If it does, then the heater in the handle may be clogged and will have to cleaned out or replaced. If no water squirts out the hose, then check the bottom of the bucket, make sure the gasket or seal is on the auto-load on the bottom of the bucket and not in the hole. The red flow indicator cap may be loose or leaking air. Could have a clogged or pinched water line under the top housing.

No water or soap flow

Does liquid squirt out of the hose. If it does then probably the heater inside the handle asm. is clogged. Take out the two long screw that hold the top handle on and remove it, then near the bottom of the handle, near the bottom are 2 more screw to remove. Then the front of the handle asm. will come off, pull the 2 tubes off of the heater and check the inlets to make sure they are open. It gets clogged up from calcium from saop deposits, but when you are down with the machine, run vinegar and water mix thru to clean out the lines before you put it away. Let me know if this doesn't fix your problem.

That red thing is most likely the float asm Part #2140325 .
