Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20

When I turn the camera on, the lens cycles three times in and out and the the screen reads "please turn camera off and then on again". But doing this does not help. Camera has been lightly used and well taken care of.

    Lumisx lens cover does not retract tried cleaning lens etc but it still sticks and opening manually not a good idea im told

The lens can not move due to an obstruction.

Gently put some force on the lens, turn the camera on and it works.

The memory card has a small slide lock on it. It may have been inadvertantly locked. Just slide the lock to the other position and try card again.

If you know how to open up the camera,the two connecttor from lens module attach to the main PCB have contact problem.you need to make sure they have a good contact.one way is to clean up the contact point and re insert back ,it may help.
