I have a quickCam Pro 9000. I tried installing it

This part number is for the QuickCam Pro 9000 or the WebCam Pro 9000. Based on the model number, V-UBM46, you have the QuickCam Pro 9000. Scroll down to find the correct software for the operating system on your computer. The QuickCam Pro 9000 can be used with the LWS (Logitech Webcam Software) versions 1.1, 2.31, 2.51 and 2.80. LWS 2.51 and LWS 2.80 do not support the Video Effects. LWS 2.80 works with Windows 8 and 10 and the direct link to the program installer is http://www.logitech.com/pub/video/lws/lws280.exe . Hello!
First uninstall any WebCam software that you have. To do this unplug your camera from the USB, go to Control Panel > Programs and Feature. Next, download the full installer (select from the drop down list) for your camera and install it. The setup will guide you trough the process and eventually will ask you to plug the camera back in.

hi this is normally just a case of uninstalling the driver for your cam and then letting windows install it so unplug it, then uninstall the drivers, reboot system, then plug your cam back in and windows should find it, and install it, have the original drivers to hand though incase you need something off the disk..hope this helps

It's not meant to be replaced. If it's bad then it's time to check on your warranty and / or time for a new webcam.

The Quickcam Pro 9000 is only compatible with PC, Windows XP SP2 at least.

If your virtual PC runs Windows 7, there is a known issue running it in Windows 7. If this is the case, I suggest to contact the manufacturer.

There is one made for MAC though; QUICKCAM vision PRO. Manufacturer's part number is 960-000254.

It is possible your webcam is either disabled or the driver is corrupted. Try reloading the webcam software driver, reboot, and then try the free webcam test tool to check if it is working properly.

Check if the device enumerated
click on Start
Computer > right click > manage > Device Manager, click on it

You should see in "Imaging devices" a "USB Video Device".

If not then device did not enumerate.
If you see a yellow circle in "oher devices" try to updated the driver by clicking on it.

Select the OS, select 32-bit and follow the instructions.

Click off on the FOUND NEW HARDWARE and continue the installation.
