Question about HP Compaq nx6110 Notebook
I can no longer use the laptop as I cant get any power to it.
I still have the broken pin, which has come away cleanly (bugger all sticky stuff on it tbh), can I re attach it with a bit of solder? If so, how the hell do you get the bloody thing open? I have torx drivers and everything.
I ve never opened a laptop before and am very worried about being too rough with it.
I broke it last summer too.
I ordered power connector from thiz guy: http://www.doctorlaptop-repair-jack.com/ disassembled laptop then used soldering iron with de-soldering tool and replaced the pin easily. If you havent used soldering iron yet, rather do ask someone else for help.
