Psp my psp was working fine until it just wouldn't turn on there was nothing wrong with it but whenever i turn it on it shows the green light and then just shuts off I PUT A GAME IN AND IT SAID SOMETHING ABOUT UPGRADING THEN SAID TURNING OFF AND WONT TURN ON NOW THE GREEN LIGHT COMES ON BUT NO SCREEN THEN TURNS OFF AGAIN AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE

Hi first i will say sorry for that. I will recommend that you see a certified technician to fix it up, there are a few things i guess are wrong with your psp... the system of psp are fragile and should be handled with care because i think one or more parts are broken and need replacement. Cheers

Put psp to charge when turning on

It seems that inside your PSP the LCD Screen Connection cable (The broad One) which is connected to the motherboard is being loose contact so if you can open the PSP try it by re-fixing the cable again otherwise you better go for a technician who will do the same job for you.

hey guy's can you help me i was upgrading my psp from 5.03 gen c full to 5.50 gen d full and when the installion is completed it said reboot your psp or shutdown i click the reboot button and suddenly the screen was all black i let it stayed black for 10 minutes but it is still black the green light is working but the screen is black

Turn on the green light and go on the internet on the psp and go tostart and type in cmd and click on it and go to ipconfig and press enter and list should come up and go to default gateway and enter in 192.36.0.11 and turn off the psp and turn it back on and it should work and i tried it before i promise.

Check to make sure the battery is charged. If the battery is low or almost out, it'll start & shut off like this.

Ouch theres a solution called pandora's battery . Google it and look on you tube theres a tutorial for it .CAUTION :MAKE SURE ITS THE FAT PSP NOT THE SLIM or it WILL BRICK IT (RENDERED USELESS)

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery.  Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light,  If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp.  If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment.  Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered.
